Folding Sliding Door and Corner

Specially crafted to meet bespoke requirements, the folding sliding door and the corner folding sliding door are reliable, robust solutions. Each boasting a wide range of design configurations, the units are specially designed to coordinate with the rest of the Kestel range for a uniform appearance.

Engineered to meet the demands of modern living, the folding sliding door and corner systems feature a sleek look coupled with smooth running and outstanding durability. The corner solution also enables that sought-after indoor/outdoor lifestyle, enabling properties to maximise the use of their outside space.

  • High security: With multi-point locking and shoot bolts as standard, both systems offer PAS 24 compliance.
  • Thermal efficient: U values of 1.6 W/m2K* are possible for improved energy efficiency and a comfortable indoor climate.
  • Range of glazing options: The systems accept toughened or laminated safety glass and infill panels in thicknesses of 24 mm – 28 mm, as well as a triple glazed option for the corner folding sliding door.
  • Bottom-hung arrangement: This popular configuration features stainless-steel wheels to ensure smooth and consistent operation.
  • Open design: With the corner solution, structural steel supports the building from above to allow the corner of the room to be swept away using the slimline corner post. This provides even greater access to the property’s outside space.

Design options

Thanks to numerous fittings and configuration options, the folding sliding door and the corner design system can be adapted to fulfil a variety of requirements for complete design freedom.

  • Range of opening types: Inward or outward and left, right or split opening options (outward-opening only for the corner design).
  • Variety of fittings: Slimline handles ensure neat, flush stacking of the doors when open for effective use of space.
  • Choice of track: Flush or rebate track, with the option to specify a low threshold with a step of just 13 mm for the folding sliding door system.
  • Door configuration combinations: Odd numbers of doors on one side can be combined with any even number of doors on the other to suit every space.
