Patio Sliding Door

Constructed for residential newbuild, refurbishment and light commercial applications, the patio sliding door system is a high-quality, stylish solution. Extensive security testing helps to provide peace of mind, while narrow profiles offer uninterrupted views to the outside without sacrificing thermal efficiency.

Features and benefits

Perfect for those wanting to make the most of their view, the patio sliding door is a reliable, durable and visually appealing solution. Featuring large-scale glazing and minimal sightlines, this door system is an excellent alternative to a traditional French or folding sliding door.

  • Ultra slim profiles: With its reduced sightlines, the sliding door acts as a removable wall that can completely open up the home to the garden.
  • High thermal performance: The patio sliding door can achieve U values of up to 1.6 W/m2K*.
  • Soft brake closing: Designed to enhance safety, durability and user experience by preventing the doors from slamming shut.
  • Tried-and-tested: The PAS 24 certified version is available for added security in the home.

* Based on AD L 2021 sizes with standard Ug 1.0 W/m2K DGU, ultimate spacer as per Approved Document L requirements.

Design options

The patio sliding door system can be customised and adapted to suit any requirement. The slim profiles offer maximum design freedom, while the wide range of fittings and finishing options enable the system to meet the demands of modern architecture.

  • Surface finishes: Mill finish, etched and anodised options are available along with dual-colour powder-coated finishes in a huge range of colours.
  • Easy access: A 33 mm low threshold version provides improved accessibility.
  • Glazing options: Units will accept double or triple glazing and infill panels up to 42 mm in thickness.
